The Oasis Diner located on U.S. 40 in  Plainfield received an Historic Preservation Award by Wa-Pe-Ke-Way, NSDAR chapter in 2018.  Pictured are Chapter Historian and Historic Preservation chair Julie Torbit, co-owners Doug Huff and Don Rickets, and Regent Linda Teany.

A bench made from recycled bottle caps was presented to the American Legion Post 331.

Our chapter was honored as a 'Legacy Project' for the Indiana Bicentennial. A Bicentennial Committee was set up to design a pin that reflected Indiana's 200th birthday as a state.
