Chapter Programs


Our chapter meeting programs are very informative and interesting to our members and guests.

Andrea Carlile, author of "The War that Came Home" was a guest speaker at a chapter meeting. She shared about the obstacles she experienced with coping with the effects of her husband's battle with PTSD after Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Jeannie Regan Dinius from the Department of Natural Resources, and pictured with Regent Linda Teany, presented 'Grave Symbolism'.

Bill and Sandi Wilson presented 'Kentucky in the Revolution'

Guest Speaker, John Parsons, presented “Land Description of Townships for the Hendricks County Plat Books".

'Honoring Our Student Winners' program is held in April to present certificates and awards to the Hendricks County DAR Good Citizens and the American History Essay winners.
