Veterans Day

Our chapter hosts activities to honor our veterans. For the Veterans Day celebration, we set an American flag on the courthouse lawn for each veteran who died from Hendricks County. Each flag had a veterans' name, rank, branch and conflict next to it. We also had a program honoring all veterans in Hendricks County and placed luminaries around the Hendricks County courthouse.

The flags on the courthouse lawn for Veterans Day are placed in a 'V' to honor all Hendricks County veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice during all wars.

Chapter members placed Patriotic luminaries around the courthouse with each bag having the name of a Hendricks County veteran, his rank, branch of service, and conflict.
